REVIEWS: What Clients are saying about Anjeanette Illustration
I highly recommend Anjeanette Illustration! She has taken several photo sessions of my family and I have been very pleased every time. She is great with my children and she always seems to capture their personalities perfectly! I now have some great family photos that I will cherish forever.-Mary Wietecha
My daughter is currently a senior and she liked working with Anjeanette for this group and individual poses. If you are looking for something that is outside the normal - "wear a white shirt and lean against the tree" - Anjeanette is for you. She is a photography with the eye of an artist.-Jason Elkins
Ayjey did an amazing job on my son's senior portraits. He was not looking forward to it at all and reluctantly agreed. After wading through creeks and over trees and rocks, he was actually laughing and having fun. She has an amazing eye and really captures the uniqueness of those she photographs. I would use her again in a heartbeat. - Angie Duncan
Anjeanette was very professional, flexible, and creative. Thank you for your patience and time. We love the pictures, had a great time and hope to work with you again in the near future. - Uchenna Udeze
I have chosen Anjeanette as our family photographer for the past two years. I love her work. She is able to take a fairly ordinary setting and produce a magical scene. She is the real deal - photographer, designer, artist. -Janet Ridgill
My husband and I got married this past July, but we were working with Anjeanette Illustration months before. From the very beginning she was always professional, efficient, and completely clear. Once I hired her I didn't have a single worry about my wedding photos. If there were any concerns, she was easily reachable, and she always gave great feedback. On the day of the wedding she was early and completely prepared. She kept things moving smoothly and orderly (which is a huge accomplishment, because the Hunt-Buck families were quite large and loud!) She was in-charge without ever being "bossy" or "ugly." Everyone loved working with her! Finally, the pictures (WOW THOSE PICTURES!) were absolutely fantastic. She went to work that morning before I did and worked until after I had left. That whole day she was there capturing so many special moments of our special day. I didn't even notice her sometimes! She stayed out of the way and once again was extremely respectful throughout the entire process. I received my photos in a timely manner, she didn't keep me waiting past what she promised. You can see in the photos all the work she put in after that day too. Each photo was edited with care and looked amazing. It was such a great experience that I'm going to hire her again and again for all the other special moments in my life. If you are looking for professional quality photos with a professional and respectful photographer, Anjeanette Illustration Photography is for YOU! -Jessica & Owen Buck
She is the absolute best... she individualized our photos and helped us capture one of the best days ever.- Ariel M.
Anjeanette took our daughter's senior portraits. We were more than pleased with the results! Her photographs were creative and fun and they captured our daughter's true personality. All of the photographs were phenomenal! Anjeanette also has a great personality. She put us all at ease during the process and made it a fun day to remember. Our family will be using her for anything we need photographed in the future! I highly recommend her! - Glenna Underhill
AJ was amazing!! She was so organized and on top of everything leading up to the wedding. She answered my thousand questions and made me feel very comfortable with the process. On the actual wedding day, things were chaotic, as we were one of the lucky couples to have an outdoor wedding on a rainy day! AJ stayed so calm and positive despite all the last min changes to our schedule/plan. It helped us to stay calm as well - which meant everything to me! Most importantly, the photos were beautiful. We loved her so much & were grateful to have her be a part of capturing our day. Thank you so much for everything! - Laura B.
She is awesome!!! We LOVED our engagement shoot and can't wait to have her shoot our wedding! Update: she was incredible at our wedding and I would whole-heartedly recommend her to any couple. She was responsive and made us feel comfortable throughout the whole thing. Her pictures were also gorgeous, which helps :) - Jennifer & Craig
About Anjeanette Illustration
Anjeanette Illustration combines her art education as a fine art and digital painter & life experiences as a published illustrator with her photography. She uses both the rich artistic textures of Natural Light & dramatic clean lines of Flash Photography - to give the BEST of both worlds to your treasured memories! She studied photography in high school and college, developing film and educating herself in digital later through research, workshops, classes and 8 years as a school portrait and sports photographer. Anjeanette truly believes that memories are for more than a social media newsfeed- small hands grow, teens go off on their own adventures, weddings are but one day at the start of a lifetime together. Few couples hang the leftover cake or dress above the mantle, photos are the keepsakes that hold our memories after years and loved ones pass. They are precious! And because she is aware of that the utmost feeling goes into the art of Anjeanette memory 'capture'.
She photographs landscapes on adventures, as well as professional head shots, families and children but her artistic spirit is called to Senior Portraits and Weddings.
Her clients include brides & grooms, families, musicians & artists, & a hip artisan soap company. She gives back to her community back as a volunteer children & family photographer for non-profit organizations and Life.Church. When she’s not awkwardly writing about herself in the third person, she is praying, painting, reading, and exploring the world with her husband and children and her trusty National Parks Passport.
Moments are valuable.
I capture them with an artistic, dramatic, and emotional eye. Lasting memories do not have to be out of reach- and true artistic professionalism can even be affordable.I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 1999 and worked for the Museum of Fine Art Houston and several art galleries until I began photographing important life events in manual mode in 2008. I studied under industry professionals as a second shooter with several wedding photography companies before stepping out on my own as Anjeanette Illustration Photography in Hendersonville & Nashville Tn in 2015. While I have been an artist all my life, I will also always be a lifelong learner, constantly adding to my camera and photo knowledge base to bring the best possible experience to you. My artistic style is light, airy as well as saturated and dramatic. On location, destination, and studio I shoot flash and natural light to bring the best of whatever the weather brings to your keepsakes. I do a couple of things differently. A big one is I only exclusively take weddings. I have a fast turn around of gorgeously edited images, and same day slideshows. I have first looks written in my contracts- because more time with you both mean more photos of the love of your life on the day you promise to give your lives to each other. Because my priority isn't quantity- its quality. Because of differences like that I don't mind saying that we are amazing blessed in Middle Tennessee to have some of the most amazing photographers- maybe in the world! While I would love to be a part of your day, a good fit for client AND photographer is important to ensure we create the most amazing images of your life in an experience you will always treasure.
