My gift to you: Unique Personalized Portrait Cake Toppers! From Nashville Wedding Photographer Anjeanette Illustration Photography

As both a fine art illustrator, painter, and photographer I am always looking for ways to utilize all of my passions. I have seen some adorable cake toppers recently, little clothes pin people on Pinterest actions figures, and unique items that convey the couples personalities so much better than a store bought, pre packaged plastic figurine!

How cool wouldindividual portrait cake toppers of the Bride & Groom be?

And I thought to myself "Hey Ayjey (my friends call me Ayjey_you can call me Ayjey, too. Let's be friends. Ok that got a little weird) ANYWAYS, I said to myself girl you are a portrait artist! What better way to personalize a memorable gift for your clients than a portrait?" Many of my clients I meet through word of mouth or through friends, and most I develop a friendship with. I truly get misty eyed when I photograph your vows folks.I get to be a part of and witness some amazing moments in peoples lives! Although I am your employee and vendor as a wedding photographer, I also like to give a little gift to each couple to express my happiness for them.

Because I am kinda cheesy that way, alright! I like you, I really like you!

My gift to my clients will be one of a kind portrait cake toppers

- I am just starting this and so excited! It may not be the perfect match for every wedding theme, however it is a fun memento of the day love turned your world upside down. Each custom cake topper will be cut out figures on heavy Arches cold press watercolourpaper stock, sized either 8x10 or 9x12 before cut out. After sketching and painting I will cut out and mount themto long bamboo skewer sticks so they are easily and attractively ready to place on the top tier cake. You will have original reception decor! These fun toppers would also be a whimsical grooms cake topper!

My July 2015 bride Jessica let me try the first set out on her! This couple is so much fun-Owen is a woodworker and blacksmith training at the Appalachian Center for Craft, and Jessica is the most "funnest" elementary uni-cycling teacher ever! This adorable couple is separated most of the week until their wedding, when they do get to spend weekends together they serve at church in the Lifekids area of on Sundays! So excited for their life together. Thankful I will get to capture the wedding day as their photographer! I will prolly photograph these once we get them on the cake, I will keep y'all posted ;)

Here is Patch the Cat checking out the finished toppers- look above to see these on the cake!
