Scooby almost stole the show when we met up to photograph Ally & Tylers artistic engagement session last week- this furry kid immediately nailed THREE of the 5 total photos I snapped of him announcing the happy wedding date!
I met sweet love birds Ally and Tyler up at Rock Creek Farm, where their wedding will soon be held. We explored the beautiful grounds, met a feisty rooster and friendly horses, and talked about their plans! There are so many great spots to photograph around the farm, we decided not to pick and just use almost every spot we came to. Tyler is so adoring of his lady, he was holding her and brushing the hair out her face on the windy afternoon- these two are so happy that it was pretty easy to sit back taking photos and letting them be themselves.
An engagement session is usually the first time a photograph a couple together, I like including them in my wedding packages as its a great opportunity for us all to work together. That is why I ususally ask couple if they have practiced their first dance yet. If they have its beautiful to photograph, if they haven't it usually beautiful and full of laughs!! I see how they move and what poses are most comfortable when we have extra time away from the hectic actual wedding day where time is precious. And they get used to my corny jokes and constant use of the word "awesome". But you guys- I mean it every time I say it! I wouldn't use awesome in vain! I loved seeing Tyler watch her and how thelight catches in Allys big brown eyes. The first time I met her I said wow, they are gorgeous in colour and anime in size. She is such an adorable girl, it is easy to see why Tyler adores he.
I cannot wait to photograph the wedding of these sweet kids, the trellis vines at the farm is just beginning its spring buds now, by the time we are back I imagine it will fully of gorgeous blooms and greenery.
Seriously, the lawn at the farm is amazing-
We got a warm splash of sun at the end of the grey windy afternoon!
